I’m Sarah Jean
With 10 years of photography experience and nearly a decade teaching kindergartners, I specialize in quickly connecting with kids and helping them feel safe and at ease. Instead of stiff poses (no tilted heads) and props, I use natural, gentle prompts to capture each child's genuine personalities--shy smiles, loud giggles, and serious faces.
What You Can Expect
I'll handle all the transactions with families
It's out of your hands! No more stuffing folders or fielding questions. I will supply all the necessary information, answer the questions before they ask, and provide ample reminders all through email, because life with littles can get overwhelming and we don't need more paperwork.
I can provide physical paper fliers initially, if needed or desired. I will email the families with all the important information (how you sign-up, payment options). I will send out reminders and tips for picture day, to help families with picture day prep and follow up emails with photo delivery details and print options.
A calm, efficient picture day tailored to your school's rhythm
With a decade of teaching and photography experience, the kids are in good hands. Each child will be photographed in front of a clean, timeless backdrop with age-appropriate seating options. Using the assistance of classroom teachers or support staff, I will keep things moving so kids aren't waiting an excessive amount.
Families will get 3-5 digital photos delivered in an online gallery
Once payment is collected through my online system, families will be able to download, share, and print photos. Any printed photos will be delivered directly to the family's house. No need to stuff folders or pass them out of at pick up time.
Class composite and staff portraits (optional)
Additionally, you can purchase 8x10 digital class composites. Digital staff photos and staff composite included.
Families will receive a thoughtful collection of 3–5 hand-edited digital portraits that beautifully capture their child's personality. Through genuine interaction and gentle prompting, I'll draw out different expressions, capturing each child's unique look and spirit—who they really are right now.
Their gallery will have a range of images that might include: a serious, thoughtful gaze, a silly expression, a playful smirk, an exaggerated mad face, a sweet smile, and hopefully a full-belly laugh! Each photo is taken with care and intention, giving families a lasting, meaningful portrait of their child's growing personality. These are the little looks they will never want to forget.
